Travelling with your pets
Eliminate the stress of returning to the UK with your dog, cat or ferret [yes, ferrets can also hold a pet passport]
We have plenty of open space for your dog to enjoy and they are welcome to stay with you in your room.
We can make an appointment at our local vet's practice [where they speak French, English and Spanish] which is 20 minutes away on the route north. They can provide the necessary medications and update your pet's passport to meet the UK immigration regulations. You then have 48 hours to reach the UK from here, which is a lot easier than trying to do it in 48 hours from Alicante or Murcia.
You will also find it easier in France than in Spain to find a hotel or B&B who are happy to accommodate your pet so you can have another overnight stop between here and your ferry port.
If you are coming for a mini break you will find your pet is welcome in local bars and restaurants. Usually the waiter or waitress will bring a bowl of water for your dog before taking your order! We have regular visitors who have an Irish Wolfhound and even she is allowed into restaurants.
