Mille Fleurs Visitors Book

Comments:
We have stayed with Donald and Christine now on four occasions with our cat Sandy when we travel to Spain for our long summer Break. We would not think of staying anywhere else as their hospitality is superb. Dinner is always a pleasure and a very substantial breakfast. We would highly recommend Millefleurs to anyone.

We discovered Mille Fleurs in 2005 and have used it regularly ever since to provide a relaxing break on the long trek to and from the UK and the Costa Blanca. This sleepy rural location although off the beaten track is well worth the detour off the motorways and is ideal both for the weary traveller and for a short break. We must have stayed with Don and Christine about 12 times now and enjoy every visit as we know we can expect a genuinely friendly welcome, good food and wine, and stimulating conversation with the host and hostess over dinner. We now regard Don and Christine as friends and are looking forward to our next visit in July.

Just returned from a 2 night stay with Don and Christine. This is our first time at the B&B, but it certainly won't be our last. The location is fantastic - very tranquil, but within easy reach of so many wonderful places. The B&B itself was so comfortable and welcoming - the meals were to die for and the hosts couldn't do enough for us. A gem of a place.

We stayed at Mille Fleurs for one night on our way back to the UK from Spain. The welcome from Don & Christine immediately relaxed us after a very long journey and the meal waiting for us was absolutely delicious. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast, the room was clean and very comfortable and the house is in an idyllic peaceful location.

Ann and I first stayed with Don and Christine back in 2005. We always thought of them as friends rather than Host and Hostess. They have always made us very welcome and bent over backwards to please us. We have used Mille Fleurs both as a staging post when travelling to and from the Costa Blanca, and as a Holiday Base in 2007. As a Holiday Base we were able to visit the many picturesque villages in the area, and even traverse the Cols used in the Tour de France. We have not been on one of Don's walking tours but we understand these are brilliant, with such a wide area to explore here in the Pyrenees. We would recommend this excellent B & B. We hope it will not be long before we make yet another visit.

I've stayed with Christine and Don, oh, it must be 10 times to date on my journeys to and from Belgium. I found their details in one of the Costa Blanca papers.
Mille Fleurs is in a lovely spot, the peace and quiet after a long drive is wonderful, and the welcome afforded the tired traveller is very warm. Rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Guests and hosts eat together at meal times and the atmosphere is very pleasant, with homemade food and good conversation, making for interesting and informative times.
Button, my Polar Bear, and I will definitely be visiting Christine and Don again whenever we travel to the Cold North!

What a wonderful place to stop off en route between Spain and UK. The location is so peaceful and the atmosphere in the evening is like visiting some dear friends for a lovely relaxed dinner party.

Peace and quiet, a warm welcome and an excellent and convivial dinner - what more can one ask for on an overnight stay?

We like it so much we have been back several times.

Mille Fleurs is a perfect haven for a stay in this beautiful and largely undiscovered (by Brits) region of France. Excellent accommodation, food and wine superb! Don & Christine are first class Hosts and we have been made very welcome over the years on our frequent visits.

Comments:
We first discovered Mille Fleurs as an overnight stop on trips to and from Spain. Having become disenchanted with Spain we began to spend more time in France making sure we spent part of our holidays at Mille Fleurs. This region of France has so much to offer that sometimes we wish we lived there ourselves. Don and Christine are perfect hosts, the facilities are excellent and the food is first class.
